Montrusco Bolton removed from Canadian Equity Fund
Montrusco Bolton Investments Inc.’s (“Montrusco Bolton”) Canadian Mid Cap strategy has been removed from the SEI Canadian Equity Fund (“the Fund”).
Rationale
The decision to remove Montrusco Bolton’s Canadian Mid Cap strategy was driven by SEI’s preference for investment managers that focus on our key alpha sources (quality, value, and momentum). Given our multi-manager portfolio structure, the Fund now has a manager focused on each alpha source. We believe that a more concentrated portfolio with exposures from each of our alpha sources has the potential to improve the Fund’s trade-off of return and risk.
